Explain the ideal technique for using microphones to capture audio during an interview. Which microphone type is the most effective at meeting these conditions?

What will be an ideal response?

The most important rule is to keep the microphone as close to the source as possible without interrupting the shot. A lavalier microphone is typically the best choice in this scenario, but stick microphones or boom microphones can also be used so long as they are pointed at the subject’s mouth and kept out of the shot.
