It is now possible to use the internet to download temperatures for a variety of regions over time periods of 50 years or more. You know how to calculate the average annual temperature or you could use smaller increments of time and graph the changes over time for several different regions. Some areas may show more evidence of change than others but you will probably find a discernible pattern that you can evaluate for yourself.
