Describe the difference between declarative and procedural memory

What will be an ideal response?

Explicit memory, or declarative memory, is deliberate recall of information that one recognizes as a memory. If you have an explicit or declarative memory of something, you can state it in words. Procedural memory, the development of motor skills and habits, is a special kind of implicit memory. As with other examples of implicit memory, you might not be able to describe a motor skill or habit in words, and you might not even recognize it as a memory.
