Discuss, in terms of person-centered sex and body-centered sex, the progression that men and women make toward each other's type of sex as they age.

What will be an ideal response?

Body-centered sex refers to sexual expression in which the emphasis is on the body and physical pleasure. Person-centered sex, on the other hand, refers to sexual expression in which the emphasis is on the relationship and the emotions between the two people. Adolescent male sexuality is body centered and the person-centered sex is not added until later. Adolescent female sexuality, in contrast, is person-centered and the body-centered sex comes later.
According to this analysis, the teenage male's sexuality is very intense and almost exclusively genital in its focus. As the men age, however, this focus shifts and sex becomes a more sensuously diffused experience and has a greater emotional component.
The opposite is true in the case of females. In their teens and twenties their orgasmic response is slow and inconsistent. However, by the time they reach their mid-thirties, their sexual response becomes quicker and more intense and they orgasm more consistently.
