Describe what Worker's Compensation is
A program designed to replace income and provide medical expense to employees who are injured, become ill, or die as a result of their jobs. The program benefits not only the employees and their dependents, but also offers protection to employers from being sued for those injuries, illnesses, or deaths that occur on the job and are covered by the worker's compensation program.
