Compare physical and health disabilities. Describe a child with either a physical or a health disability who does not need special education support.

What will be an ideal response?

The answer should indicate that both conditions can adversely affect a child's educational performance. The definition of both conditions should reflect the IDEA definition found in Topic 11.1 and in the chart "Definitions of Physical and Health Disabilities." Description of the child may vary. However, the answer should indicate a description of a child with either a physical or a health disability. For the child, not to need special education support, the description must indicate that the condition does not adversely affect educational performance.
