Why do older women have limited opportunities to remarry?
What will be an ideal response?
The greatest obstacle to remarriage is the overwhelming number of women compared to men in one's later years. Also, they may choose not to remarry, because their marriage was not a positive experience, they now enjoy being on their own, or they do not want to care for an ill or disabled husband.
