How can teachers give legitimacy to all families?

What will be an ideal response?

Teachers should not make generalizations about family structures. One cannot tell the function level of a family just by labels and assumptions, so teachers should stop using terms such as broken and dysfunctional. Teachers must also avoid looking at differences as deficits and view all family structures as legitimate.
