The students should discuss that such a view is indeed his credo because money is how he measures his success and worth as well as the worth of others. With that as his driving force, his decisions would all be grounded in whether he could make money, not in whether the decision was best for the company or what consequences could result from the decision. The narrow perspective deprived Kozlowski of even just a picture of the longer term consequences of his choices.
