List and explain at least three patterns of inheritance of an autosomal dominant traitWhat will be an ideal response?

In disorders with an autosomal dominant pattern of inheritance, anyone who carries one copy
of the allele has the disorder. Unless a new mutation is involved, every affected individual
has at least one affected parent. Because most affected individuals are heterozygotes (Aa)
with a homozygous recessive (unaffected) spouse (aa), each child has a 50% chance of being
affected. Because the trait is autosomal, the numbers of affected males and females are
roughly equal. Because most affected individuals are heterozygotes, two affected individuals
may have unaffected children. The phenotype in homozygous dominant individuals is often
more severe than the heterozygous phenotype.

How does the organization of the bacterial genome differ from the organization of the eukaryotic genome?

A. Most bacterial chromosomes are circular and the eukaryotic chromosomes contained in the nucleus are not. B. Eukaryotic chromosomes have to be tightly packed to fit into the nucleus, and bacterial chromosomes do not require tight packing to fit into the cell. C. Bacterial chromosomes are made up of RNA and eukaryotic chromosomes are made up of DNA. D. The eukaryotic genome is found on chromosomes and there are no chromosomes in bacterial cells. E. The compaction of the eukaryotic genome involves structural maintenance of chromosome (SMC) proteins, and the compaction of the bacterial genome does not.
