What kind of problems do you think might result from reporting medical tests or studies late? How might the medical office manager work to alleviate those situations?
What will be an ideal response?
Patients generally want to know the results of medical tests and studies as soon as possible after the test is performed. Patients will become dissatisfied the longer it takes to get those results. The medical office manager can work to keep this from happening by letting patients know when they can expect their study results, and making sure staff or physicians report those results in a timely manner.
