Identify and explain the two general types of room setups for meetings and identify which one is the easier to set up and which one uses more space.
What will be an ideal response?
The first one is referred to as theater style. This one is the easier to set up. The guests are provided only chairs, all facing the same direction, usually the front of the room. This type of physical setup would be used when the guests are attending a presentation.
The second type is referred to as schoolroom or classroom style. In this style, all the guests face the front of the room while seated at a table for the purpose of writing notes. This would be used for teaching a seminar. This style of setup also uses the most amount of space resulting in a lessening of the amount of guests that may be accommodated in a room.
