Describe how using aliases makes it easier to quickly access frequently used files.

What will be an ideal response?

An alias is an icon that links to a file or folder.  To save time, you create aliases on your desktop and simply double-click on them as needed to open files and folders that may be several levels down the file hierarchy elsewhere on your computer.  Each icon on the Dock is an alias for a program, folder, or file stored elsewhere.
