They can then present some of this information about why they improve recruiting: Through cloud- or computer-based ATS, firms have re-engineered the entire recruitment process. ATS have evolved from résumé databases to well-rounded recruitment-optimization tools--cloud-based models that incorporate intuitive interfaces and tools that allow recruiters to cast a wider net for candidates (Maurer, 2017a; Zielinski, 2015; 2017). Many ATS can easily be integrated with “add-on” recruiting technologies from outside vendors, such as video interviewing, pre-hire assessments, and the sourcing of passive candidates. The last are not actively looking for jobs.
