A. Tina has lost 18% of her body weight from an already petite size. B. She has an intense fear of gaining weight or becoming fat, even though she is underweight. C. Tina has a distorted view of the way she looks and body weight and shape unduly influence her self-evaluation. She also denies the seriousness of her current body weight, despite medical symptoms. Tina has restricting type because she has not engaged in binge eating or purging. The diagnosis of OCD requires either obsessions or compulsions. Tina performs compulsions related to getting herself ready in the morning and studying at night.
