Explain ecosystems processes
What will be an ideal response?
Answer: Ecosystem processes start with the sun providing green plants food. This food is then distributed through the ecosystem through food chains. Herbivores eat plants, carnivores and omnivores eat herbivores, and when animals die, their bodies are rich in stored up nutrients which feed decomposers. These minerals are then released into the soil, making them available to plants, and the cycle continues.
