How does culture influence the leadership process?
What will be an ideal response?
Cultures have different leadership norms (i.e., who can lead, how much influence a leader has on change, level of power leader has). Nine cultural dimensions influence uncertainty avoidance, power distance, institutional collectivism, in-group collectivism, gender egalitarianism, assertiveness, future orientation, performance orientation, and humane orientation. The student can talk about the above dimensions and the influence they have.
