Describe the two limitations on DNA evidence as of 2012

What will be an ideal response?

The two limitations on DNA evidence as of 2012 are (1) DNA evidence becomes available in only about 10% of crimes because bodily fluids such as blood, sweat, semen, hair or skin fragments needed for crime lab testing are not always present in a crime scene, and (2) a significant number of criminals who leave DNA evidence at a crime scene are not in a DNA database, and therefore cannot be immediately identified by a "match".
