Which types of intelligence have traditionally been rewarded in schools? Explain how Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences would affect public schools

What will be an ideal response?

ANSWER: Traditionally, linguistic and logico-mathematic abilities have been the most emphasized in schools. If Gardner's theory took hold in public schools, teachers and administrators would design activities with greater attention to how they draw out one intelligence or another. Because the definition of intelligence would be broadened, it would give greater numbers of students the opportunity to develop the intelligences they have.
