Describe the constructivist model of teaching

What will be an ideal response?


Students construct new knowledge by interpreting new experiences in the context of their current conceptions, experiences, episodes, and images. When students experience a discrepant event (observe an action that does not fit their current conceptions), they must use their prior knowledge to construct new conceptual understanding.
