What does research tell us about social class differences in socialization? How would a structural functionalist view these differences? A conflict theorist?

What will be an ideal response?

Kohn’s research suggests that parents reproduce their social class values through their parenting techniques. Essentially, structural functionalists might argue that the function of socialization is to reproduce the current family structure while conflict theorists might argue that families of lower socioeconomic status are not able to climb the social ladder due to their various disadvantages.
