What are a few of the multicultural positives of person centered therapy?

What will be an ideal response?

The most important contribution of person-centered counseling has been its focus on compassionate multicultural exchanges and cross-cultural conflict resolution. In terms of multicultural issues, an important goal is to help individuals identify and pursue their most subjectively meaningful path toward multicultural maturity. Glauser and Bozarth (2001) have pointed out that person-centered counseling is appropriate for working with people from different cultures because it focuses on empathic listening. Cain (2008, 2010) has maintained that person-centered therapy is well-suited for working with clients from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, primarily because the core conditions that Rogers outlined are universal.
