Discuss how an infant's emotions and feelings, in terms of the developing brain, are supported by others

What will be an ideal response?

From the time of birth, a child's emotions and feelings develop from being held, making eye contact, and being talked to, smiled at, and loved. One of the most critical of these is eye contact because it garners the greatest response from the brain. If a baby is missing these critical factors, the brain connections may not be made. A loving, warm environment is key to brain development as it relates to the socio-emotional development of a child.
