Explain a flashback and what should be done if one occurs

A flashback is burning inside the torch causing a hissing or squealing noise. Quickly turn off the torch
oxygen valve and then the torch acetylene valve. If fire is suspected in the hoses, rush to close the
acetylene valve and then the oxygen valve at the tanks.
