How do the Mesozoic marine communities differ from those of the Paleozoic? What will be an ideal response?

Scleractinian corals evolved in the Mesozoic, after the extinction of the rugose and tabulate
corals of the Paleozoic. Rudist bivalves became reef builders in many places in the Mesozoic.
Both bivalves and cephalopods radiated in the Mesozoic, and dominated invertebrate faunas.
Echinoids were exclusively epifaunal during the Paleozoic, but branched into infaunal
habitats during the Mesozoic.
