Define Suspect’s Alibi.
What will be an ideal response?
Alibis need to be checked out in order to see if they are truthful, valid, or other- wise accurate. If not, the subject providing the alibi may be lying.
A person who has created a false alibi has to put together a fictitious story about where they were or why it was not them who committed the crime. The problem with this is, it is almost impossible to construct a story that takes into consideration every possible aspect. When the subject is presented with an unknown element that challenges their story, they have to make up more lies to accommodate the new information.
