Fill in the blank(s) with the appropriate word(s).

Concurrent engineering is a precursor to agile engineering and provides a strong foundation for moving a company to agile engineering. Concurrent engineering aims to improve quality and effi ciency by
involving all aspects of the project (conception, materials selection, design, testing, manufacturing, production, market, etc.) as a whole, rather than isolated from one another. Building upon the holistic
approach of concurrent engineering, agile manufacturing implements an organizational strategy and associated processes, tools, and training to facilitate quicker decisions and produce a greater variety of new products faster, cheaper, and with greater quality.
