When should you use Monroe's motivated sequence
strategy? Explain the stages in this strategy and the need to
make sure you are ethical while using it.
What will be an ideal response?
You should use this strategy when you want to motivate the audience by proving
to them that you can satisfy their needs by implementing your solution. The five stages are:
(1) Attention: Direct the audience's attention toward the topic.
(2) Need: You need to prove that a problem exists.
(3) Satisfaction: You propose a solution that will resolve the problem.
(4) Visualization: You help the audience visualize how great the situation will be after
they implement the solution.
(5) Action: Tell the audience what they need to do to achieve the solution.
