Explain how a holistic approach would be beneficial in the attempt to explain female crime

What will be an ideal response?

Each person is a unique individual whose actions must be considered in the context of multiple factors influencing that individual. The following is one example from the life course of a female offender:
• Sally, a hyperactive girl with a short attention span, cannot sit still at school and drives her teacher and parents crazy. Internalizing the negativism around her, she joins a group of outcasts, experiments with drugs, and drops out of school.
• Biological attributes combine with the psychological process of internalizing negative adult reactions, which combine with social influences in her environment.
• Each is a unique individual; our personalities and behavior can only be understood in terms of the interactions of a combination of factors.
