Ans: Suburbia is a word expressing suburban life and culture. Some of its characteristics is that each suburban neighborhood has its own way of grouping the individuals and their families that live there. In the beginning people and families stayed together with their families and children and then the evolving culture of the suburbs reflected a similar process, a shucking off of ethnic associations (Davidson, 2014). Now, single-family dwellers were more likely to leave relatives and in-laws behind, and ethnic lifestyles were becoming less pronounced (Davidson, 2014). Class distinctions were now more pronounced between the suburban communities than is was within them (Davidson, 2014). Although suburban life mostly assimilated the middle classes, different types of middle class dwelled in different suburbs. Upper middle-class dwelled within older developments, while working-class suburbs sprouted on the outskirts of large manufacturing centers, and blue-collar families like to dwell in suburbs which eagerly escaped the city (Davidson, 2014). Even when it seemed communities showed no obvious distinctions, they were sometimes strongly divided along religious lines (Davidson, 2014).
