Why is it too simplistic to suggest that cultural differences are the main reasons that immigrants experience higher rates of IPV?

What will be an ideal response?

This is too simplistic of an answer because it suggests that women from these cultural backgrounds are passive in accepting their experiences, or that they do not object to the way they are treated. Also, the same structural factors that influence these cultures also impact our own. But there are many structural constraints that keep these women from getting help for their abuse.
