Briefly explain the iron-sulfur world hypothesis and identify two pieces of evidence that support this hypothesis. What will be an ideal response?

The iron sulfide hypothesis states that early polymerization leading to the origin life occurred
in cracks of the deep ocean floor that released hot water, carbon dioxide and minerals such as
iron and sulfide . Laboratory simulations of these hydrothermal vents have produced organic
compounds by iron and nickel sulfide catalysis of carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulfide.
