Write a brief statement on heaven and hell as described in the Qur'an.
What will be an ideal response?
Heaven and hell are pictured in the Qur'an as places with physical and spiritual aspects (56:1–56). Heaven is a place of beautiful gardens, cool waters, plentiful food, wine that does not intoxicate, and the beautiful virginal women called houris whom God has created as rewards for righteous men.
Hell is a place of physical and spiritual pain, complete with darkness, fire, and boiling filth.
