Why do you think it is important to prepare a case for trial from the beginning, as if there is no chance for early resolution?
What will be an ideal response?
The paralegal is the “keeper of the file.” As the case moves forward through the
discovery process, it is important to have the case file organized and all important documents
categorized. Your attorneys require and appreciate a well-organized file as depositions are
taken. Trials are document-intensive and require numerous hours of preparation. Keeping the
file organized throughout the litigation process will make the weeks leading up to trial go
more smoothly and limit last-minute surprises.
