Briefly explain the difference between goal statements, outcome statements and objectives

Goal statements are broad, long-term descriptions of HOW you want your students to grow and progress.
Outcome statements are also long-term but they state specifically what you want your students to know, understand, and be able to do within a given period of time.
Objectives are short-term, specific descriptions of what teachers will teach and/or what students are expected to learn.
