What is implicit stereotyping and how does it affect our behavior?
What will be an ideal response?
Implicit stereotyping is the automatic and unconscious activation of strong stereotypes. Implicit stereotyping influences our behavior without our being aware of it. For example, when young adults are primed subliminally with the image of an elderly person, the young person's actual behavior is influenced in an age-related manner, that is, walking more slowly down a hall.
