Define suicide by cop (SbC) and explain what SbC incidents are more dangerous than other suicides.

What will be an ideal response?

Suicide by cop (SbC) is evidenced by a subject’s intentional life-threatening behaviors to coerce a law enforcement officer to respond with lethal force. SbC incidents are much more dangerous than other suicides because a highly motivated SbC subject will do whatever it takes to achieve his goal, including endangering police officers and the general public. In most suicide incidents, the subject only wishes to inflict harm on themselves, while in SbC incidents, the subject may endanger, or in fact harm, sometimes fatally others, before police respond with deadly force. As such, they generally pose a greater risk to officers, and citizens in general, than other suicides.
