Answers will vary but should include a discussion of the social construction of fashion and trends. If you see individuals you admire advertising themselves a certain way online, you may intentionally or unintentionally consume fashion in a way that matches their presentation. For example, you may notice that a group of celebrities you follow have begun wearing animal-print sweaters in many of their posts. Or, perhaps, you may have noticed that a new pair of shoes have been trending in online images. You may adapt your consumption habits to match those you perceive to be trendy.
