How can death education help prepare people for eventually dealing with the death of a loved one?

Death education can help people deal with their fears about death and clarify their beliefs about death. When people think through in advance the losses that death would entail, they are better prepared when an actual death occurs. Finally, death education can reassure people that the emotional reactions they may experience at the time of a death are normal and legitimate.
