4. Immigrants tend to be young adults in their childbearing years; they live in larger family households; they earn less money in their jobs; they are more likely to live in poverty; and they tend to reside in central cities.
5. Chain migration: Tendency of immigrants to migrate to areas where they have kin and others from their home communities, usually urban areas.
