d. Use your knowledge of the dependent variable and predictor variables to identify and formulate several possible models.
e. Use statistical software to estimate the possible models.
f. Determine whether the required conditions are satisfied. If not, attempt to correct the problem. At this point, you may have several "equal" models from which to choose.
g. Use your judgment and the statistical output to select the best model.
