Describe the BASK model.
What will be an ideal response?
The BASK model, created by Braun, indicates that individuals dissociate on a continuum from full awareness to fully dissociated or unconscious awareness. The level of dissociated awareness may impact one’s behavior associated with the experience (B), their affect (A) associated with the experience, the bodily sensations (S) at the time, and/or knowledge (K) of an experience. It is suggested that memories may be dissociated on one of the four levels or any combination of the four levels.
