Consider your own professional portfolio. List at least 4 different pieces of work that you have completed in college that you would place in your portfolio. Would your portfolio be digital (online), or just on paper? What would be the advantages of each?

What will be an ideal response?

A portfolio should be representative of the type of work that you do. It should also relate in some way to the type of work that is done by a company where you would like to work. It should include a variety of samples-e.g., PowerPoints, spreadsheets, Presentation outlines, reports, perhaps a marketing project that you completed for a marketing class.

The advantage of a digital portfolio is that it is available to a wider audience, and can be previewed before your interview. If your portfolio is online only, then you may want to print off a hard copy to carry with you to an interview.
