Define what is meant by Thermal Conductivity and Thermal Conductance.
What will be an ideal response?
Thermal conductivity (k) denotes the ability of a material to transfer heat from an area of high temperature to an area having a lower temperature. Thermal conductivity is measured in the number of Btus (British thermal units) that can pass through one square foot of a material one inch thick when the temperature difference between the two surfaces is one degree Fahrenheit.
