List and explain four methods of differentiation within the general education classroom.

Answers may vary but should include a description of any four of the following methods: Bloom's Taxonomy, Tiered Lessons, Inquiry-based Learning, Problem-based Learning, Project-based Learning, or Teaching Leadership skills. Bloom's Taxonomy is a method for phrasing questions and assigning products. Tiered lessons provide different extensions of the same basic lesson for groups of students of differing ability. Inquiry-based learning is an evidence-based practice for teaching science that engages students in asking research questions, planning investigations, collecting and analyzing data, deriving explanations, and communicating their findings. Problem-based learning requires students to work together in small groups to seek solutions to real world problems. In project-based learnings, students work together for an extended period of time to investigate an authentic question and produce a product or presentation designed to answer that question. Specific strategies are used to build and support leadership skills.
