Differentiate between legitimate and expert power and give an example of each
What will be an ideal response?
Legitimate power is derived from holding a position in an organization that is recognized by others as legitimate to compel obedience, such as the principal changing teacher schedules. Expert power is that gained from the knowledge that one has that will induce others to comply so they can benefit from it, such as following the recommendations of a principal about a new reading series because of his reading background.
