• Describe the best way to prevent hyperventilation

What will be an ideal response?

Hyperventilation in the dental office usually occurs as a result of anxiety. It is very important for the dental team to determine what caused the person’s fears of dentistry. Once this is established, it is easier for the dental team to take steps to alleviate the fears and, hopefully, prevent a hyperventilation episode.
