Having a positive and professional approach will help you deal with those difficult situations. Some examples of how to deal with difficult situations are speaking directly with a person who is problematic, remaining calm in your interactions, excusing yourself from a situation if you are unable to remain calm, following the chain of command if you cannot solve the problem among yourself, and avoiding gossip.
