Answer: The presumptions at the beginning of a trial is innocence and sanity. It is the job of the prosecutor to introduce sufficient evidence and/or witnesses during the trial to rebut the presumption of innocence via burden of proof, beyond a reasonable doubt. If the prosecution cannot present their case with the burden of proof, either the evidence/witnesses weren't sufficient or the defendant was truly innocent,
