A majority opinion is the opinion of the majority of justices; it is not unanimous. A concurring opinion is a decision that comes to the same conclusion as the majority decision but may have different logic or something to add to the argument. A dissenting opinion disagrees with the majority decision entirely. A per curiam opinion is a brief, unsigned opinion where the court agrees with part of a lower court ruling but disagrees with other parts.
